The District Governor of each Australian Rotary District is a member of the RAWCS Company. This membership elects a Board of Directors to govern the company on their behalf. We are a large organisation, seen by the outside world as the face of Australian Rotary enabling global good.

Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment focuses on being the resource for Rotary clubs and community groups in collating and distributing valuable donated goods for local and overseas projects.

Australian Rotarians Against Malaria are volunteers who are passionate about eliminating malaria in our partner countries. ARAM is an Australian registered charity, and we are an entity of RAWCS.
MediShare
A Medical Surplus Recovery Organisation
MediShare works with a range of partners, government and not-for-profit organisations to add value to the infrastructure of health care in disadvantaged communities. MediShare is an entity of RAWCS.
These activities provide sustainable development and relief work overseas and charitable support for people in need of assistance within Australia.
Our Causes
RAWCS administers four registered Charitable Trusts which can provide Tax Deductible receipts for donations:
Rotary Australia Overseas Aid Fund (RAOAF) (ABN: 21 388 376 554) (DGR1 status)
Funding project activities in those countries declared as ‘developing’ by the Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade.
Rotary Australia Benevolent Society (RABS) (ABN: 54 563 288 318) (DGR1 status)
Funding projects that provide benevolent relief as their main purpose, and that relief must be provided to people in need.
Trust for the Environment
(RATE)
(ABN: 42 153 328 710) (DGR1 status)
Funding projects that protect and enhance all aspects of the natural environment both in Australia and in developing nations.
Rotary Australia Relief Fund (RARF) (ABN: 80 595 697 237) (DGR2 status)
To enable collection of funds for specific areas of relief and major appeals that must be spent by a DGR1 status project.
