Community Projects
RAWCS prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion to create positive impacts in communities. We uphold human rights principles in all operations, following humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence. Committed to racial justice, we promote healing, reconciliation, and respect for all individuals, regardless of background.
All registrants of projects with RAWCS are now required to accept and adhere to our RAWCS Code of Conduct Policy and the RAWCS Child Safeguarding and Code of Conduct Policy.
You must have the support of your Rotary Club and notify your Club President before you proceed to register a new project.

For help to register a project please contact your District RAWCS Chair or RAWCS Regional Supervisor. You will find them listed on this website on the Rotarian Centre page when you scroll down.

RAOAF
Rotary Australia Overseas Aid Fund (RAOAF)
RAOAF i s an Overseas Aid Fund to provide sustainable development aid in developing countries as identified by the Department of Foreign Affairs or short-term relief for disasters.

RABS
Rotary Australia Benevolent Society (RABS)
RABS is a Public Benevolent Fund to register projects within Australia to enable Rotary Clubs and Districts to provide assistance to people in need within their local or wider community.

RACG
Rotary Australia Compassionate Grants (RACG)
RACG manages philanthropic donations to be distributed to disadvantaged Australians identified by local Rotary Clubs or Rotary Districts as being worthy of financial assistance.

RAWCS LTD
RAWCS Limited Fund (LTD)
A new feature for LTD is the availability to support Rotary Clubs and Rotary Districts with projects that do not require tax deductibility for the donated funds.

RARF
Rotary Australia Relief Fund (RARF)
RARF is a Level 2 Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) fund to enable collection of funds that are not directed at specific projects.
Level 2 DGR Funds CANNOT be spent directly but must be transferred to Level 1 DGR projects (ie. RAOAF, RABS, RACG projects). RARF is administered on a national basis, fully utilising the RAWCS website and our online donation facility to minimise administration costs.

RATE
Respect & Action Trust for the Environment (RATE)
RATE is a charitable trust established by RAWCS to support and facilitate the environmental projects of Australian Rotary Clubs both in Australia and overseas.
RATE is registered with the Australia Taxation Office as an Environmental Organisation and can issue tax deductible receipts for donations to it’s projects. RATE is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a charity whose subtype is Advancing the Environment.
